About Me
Born in Moscow, Russia, Tatiana Scott arrived in the US already holding three degrees: a Master's Degree in Piano Performance, Musicology and Choir Conducting from the State Music Academy of Gnessin, Moscow.
In 2002, she received a second Master’s degree in Piano Performance from CSUS. Since then, Ms. Scott has been a faculty member at CSUS teaching piano and musicianship. In 2004, she also began teaching music theory/ear training classes and applied piano at American River College, Sacramento.
Ms. Scott’s piano students performed as soloists at Carnegie Hall after winning the Crescendo International Competition and with ARC orchestra.

I am flexible with my requirements and methods:
From very rigorous and advanced piano repertoire and technique to fun and relaxed keyboard skills.
My Teaching Style
I can adjust my teaching style to accommodate students requests.
I teach classical piano at the college/university level, but also can teach easier repertoire.

Learning piano has been such a positive experience, and a lot of that is thanks to my wonderful instructor Tatiana Scott! Booking sessions is always easy, and I really appreciate the availability of convenient times that fit my schedule. When I first started, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the different program requirements , but my instructor was incredibly helpful in guiding me to choose the perfect pieces. Throughout the learning process, her support has been invaluable. Professor Tatiana Scott has a fantastic way of paying attention to the details, ensuring I have a solid understanding of each concept. I always feel encouraged and supported during our lessons, which makes the entire journey so enjoyable!

Understand and Inspiring

I've taken piano classes with Tatiana Scott for 2 years and I can say that in just these 2 years we've made big progress. Ms. Scott is a very understanding and inspiring teacher. She will help and advise on how to learn a difficult part. She will also help you learn the piece of your dreams.
I came to classes with pleasure knowing that I would receive help and inspiration. Classes with Ms. Scott give me the motivation to continue studying and dedicate my life to music. I am very grateful to Ms. Scott for her patience and the time she devoted to me and for helping me believe in myself as a musician.
Thanks to classes with Tatiana Scott, I fell in love with the piano and cannot imagine life without this instrument. I feel sufficiently trained and am honored that I have learned this many techniques and skills from such an amazing professor like Tatiana Scott!
