A Berklee College of Music professor, Oleg Smirnov is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and music producer whose work combines stylistic diversity with deep insight, sensitivity, and attention to detail. His music has been featured in film, TV, radio, and theater productions, showcased at numerous national and international music festivals, and reviewed in major music media, including Billboard. From scoring animation pilots for Disney and advertising for major brands to remarkable artist collaborations, Smirnov's work ranges widely across various media and genres. Three of his works were contenders for Grammy Awards in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, Best Arranging for Instruments and Vocals, and Best New Age Album categories.

As a dedicated mentor and educator, I help students reach their goals, offering support to grow musically and professionally. My teaching is shaped by nearly two decades of professional experience in the music industry as a performer, composer, arranger, and producer. I have collaborated with top professionals across multiple genres and media, gaining hands-on experience with both the creative and business sides of the industry. I am committed to mentoring the next generation of professionals, helping them master their craft, mature their artistic vision, and successfully navigate their careers, as well as prepare you for college auditions and advanced placements.

Over the years, I have taught a diverse variety of students in various settings - from one-on-one private instrumental instructions to packed college auditoriums. In addition to my degree from Berklee I have a graduate degree in Psychology so my classes are highly personable and customizable.
