He is always approachable and willing to help with any questions or challenges we face not only in personal repertoire music but in symphonic wind ensemble music. His encouragement and positive attitude made a significant impact on my experience as a trombonist in a positive way.

I truly appreciated his teaching style, kindness, and dedication. Professor Steve Perdicaris is an exceptional educator, and I would highly recommend him to other trombone students.
Deep Knowledge Presented Clearly

Whenever I had questions about my playing, specifically embouchure in the lower range, Professor Perdicaris would demonstrate how he would go about it. His deep knowledge during our trombone applied lessons was evident in every meeting and discussion, and he has a remarkable ability to present complex topics in a clear and accessible way.
Above and Beyond

What stood out the most was his genuine care for his students. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt supported, both academically and personally. Whether it was through thoughtful feedback, having an outlet like trombone choir, or simply checking in with students, he created an environment where learning felt enjoyable and approachable.
