UNIVERSITY TROMBONE TEACHER: I have been teaching at the University level for 30+ years. Currently at California State University, Sacramento, CA. Formerly at University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA, and University of Nevada, Reno, DEGREES: I have a Bachelor of Music from University of North Texas. And a Master of Nonprofit Administration degree from the University of San Francisco. PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN: Locally, I have performed with Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera (CA) for over 17 years. Internationally, I have toured in concert halls across England and Wales with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. I have also performed in major theaters with the national revival tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and in major theaters in Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich, Germany with the international touring company for the musical "Crazy For You". I am also a freelance musician in northern California.

Throughout my career, I have cultivated a reputation as a collaborative and dependable teacher dedicated to student success. My teaching philosophy centers on student-centered learning and creating a supportive environment. I am confident in my ability to connect with students, nurture their musical talents, and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

My experience includes working with students of all ages and ability levels. My students inspire my passion for teaching. Their curiosity, enthusiasm, desire to improve on their instrument, and their love of music. It gives me great satisfaction introducing students to the world of music and the infinite possibilities and opportunities that can follow.
